GOALS


PRIMO will provide an international and interdisciplinary forum for the latest research on the impacts of human activities on aquatic ecosystems.





EXPERTISE


PRIMO will highlight research in ecotoxicology, evolutionary toxicology, and marine & freshwater biology to highlight the latest research of the impact of pollutants on aquatic environments.





CONNECTIONS


PRIMO welcomes scientists from academic, government, and private institutions, as well as stakeholders directly involved in environmental protection, water management, and chemical legislation to facilitate the knowledge translation and be informed on the latest research in aquatic toxicology.

The organizing committee is chaired by Dr. Joanna Wilson (McMaster Uni.). The local committee includes:

VENUE


For the first time in history, PRIMO will be hosted in Canada. The conference will be held on the McMaster University main campus, from June 2 – June 5, 2026.
